A Companies:

Xcalibur, Xpressions Xcells, Xplosions (4 Regional competitions for Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Ballet and Kick and 3 Regional competitions for Jazz production)
C Companies:
Xperience, Xperts and Xtremes (6 Regional competitions for Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Ballet and Kick, 3 Regional competitions for Jazz production)
Competition and performance dates are tentative and subject to change.

Due to the NBA lockout we do not have the for the Timberwolves performance. We are hoping to hear something soon.
Competition time schedules are sent to us approximately one week prior to each competition. You will receive an email as soon as the schedule is ready. If you have not received and email from us, we do not know the weekend's schedule. Please leave competition weekends completely open for your dancer and let us know about potential conflicts in writing by December 1, 2011.
All company events are mandatory. If you plan something else during a competition or rehearsal, you may lose your privilege to perform for the remainder of the season and/or the following season. Please do not commit to company if you are unable to attend all company events and performances.
* August 8-18: Company Intensive (Monday-Thursday, both weeks). A Companies: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., B & C Companies: 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Jazz Production Rehearsals during Company Intensive week 2 (Aug. 15-18): A Companies: 1:00-2:00 p.m., B Companies: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., C Companies 4:00-5:00 p.m.
* August 22: First day of regular classes. Company contracts must be received by today for your dancer to start classes.
* September 5: Labor Day, no classes (Classes will be made up on Nov. 22)
*October 15: WOW Factor Workshop (more info. to come) – No Saturday competition classes today.
*October 15: Company dancer lock-in 5:00-10:00 p.m. Potluck and Parent Meeting 5:00-6:00 p.m.
*October 20: Make up/Accessory and Company Warm-up Order forms and payment are due today.
*November 6: Jesus Solorio & Menina Fortunato Workshop at Crosstown Lifetime Fitness (see workshop page on our website for more information)
* November 21: Make up day for Labor Day classes
* November 22-27: Thanksgiving Break, no regular classes (classes resume Monday, Nov. 28)
* December 20-January 1: Winter Break, no regular classes (classes resume Monday, Jan. 2)
* Jan. 14: 2:00-4:00 p.m. Make up and Hair Lesson & New Company Dancer/Parent Competition Info. Session. All first year company families at the studio.
*Jan. 27: "Minnestota's Got Talent" Talent Show Auditions-Voulunteers and sponsors will be needed. DanceXhcnage company dancers will not perform but are welcome to audition non-danceXchange dances or other talent acts. This is not mandatory.
*Jan. 28: Minneapolis South High Dance Show (Xperts perform Jazz & Lyrical)
*Feb. 11: WOW Factor – NEW date - Xperts and Xtremes Jazz and Lyrical dances We will not attend this competition this year. I'll look into it again for next season =).
* Feb. 25: Company Picture Day and Dress Rehearsal (all company dancers) 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. & All Company Dress Rehearsal at the studio, 3:00-6:00 pm. All dancers stay for entire rehearsal and must help with clean up at 5:45 p.m. No Saturday Company classes today.
* March 3, 10, April 14: Regular Saturday competition classes – No Saturday competition classes on competition weekends.
* March 16-18: NexStar Competition, St. Paul River Center (C Companies only + Boy's Hip Hop)
* March 17: Recreational class pictures at the studio, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (Recreational classes only). No Saturday competition classes today.
* March 23-25: Masquerade Competition, Burnsville PAC (B & C Companies + Boy's Hip Hop)
* March 30-April 8: Revised company schedule TBA in Feb. Due to Spring Break week for the majority of our students, company dancers will have a revised schedule.. Your dancer's schedule will be different from her/his normal schedule during these weeks. Recreational classes follow their regular schedule during this time.
We will not take a week off for Spring Break this season. Dancers will be allowed one free absence during their school's Spring Break week.
* April 19-22: Triple S, East Ridge High School, Woodbury (All company dancers + Jazz Production)
*April 26-29: Midwest Starz Dance Competition, Monticello High School (All company dancers + Jazz Production)
*May 9-13: Star Quest (C company dancers + Boy's Hip Hop)
*Original calendar included B Company. This competition is for C Company ONLY.
* May 18-20: Bravo Competition, Burnsville Performing Arts Center (All company dancers + Jazz Production)
* May 26: Last day of regular classes
* May 28: Memorial Day, no classes.
* May 29-June 1: Recital rehearsals. Schedule TBA.
* June 2 & 3: Spring Recitals, The Arts Center on 7 (Minnetonka High School Theater).
